Job Description: .NET Application Developer

Location: Erie, PA

Rate: $60 -$65/hr

Role: Senior .NET Application Developer / Technical Lead Primary Skills: .NET, Microservices, AWS, REST APIs, Containers, CI/CD Role Summary We are looking for an experienced .NET Application Developer with 10-12 years of experience in enterprise application development and modernization. The candidate will be responsible for modernizing legacy/monolithic .NET applications into cloud-native microservices and migrating/replatforming applications to AWS.

Required Technical Skills

• 10-12 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework / EF Core, and modern .NET development.
• Proven experience in monolith-to-microservices modernization.
• Experience with legacy application assessment, refactoring, replatforming, and modernization.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of:

o Microservices architecture and design patterns

o REST APIs

o Domain-driven design concepts

o Docker and containerization

o Kubernetes/EKS or ECS

o Messaging and asynchronous processing

o SQL and relational databases

o NoSQL concepts

o Authentication and authorization

o Application caching

o Logging, monitoring, and observability

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or equivalent.
• Experience with infrastructure automation/IaC such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, networking, and application configuration.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand complex legacy applications and translate them into modern architecture.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
