3721 North Ventura Drive,Arlington Heights, IL 60004Join WITRON as the Apprenticeship Coordinator!The Apprenticeship Coordinator oversees the daily administration and success of the national apprenticeship program, serving as the primary liaison between the company, partner schools, apprentices, mentors, and site leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating program activities, managing compliance requirements, registering and maintaining programs with the Department of Labor (DOL), and ensuring adherence to apprenticeship standards, work processes, related instruction, wage progression, and completion requirements.Track apprentice progress, provide ongoing support and guidance to participants, and facilitate communication among all stakeholders to ensure a positive apprenticeship experience. Additionally, this position plans and monitors mentorship and professional development opportunities that foster apprentice growth, engagement, and successful career development. Through effective program administration and relationship management, the Apprenticeship Coordinator helps build and sustain a strong talent pipeline for the organization.Duties/Responsibilities:Serve as the main point of contact for schools, students, and on-site managers.Prepare, submit, and maintain all registered apprenticeship paperwork.Coordinate with schools to align classroom curricula with on‑site practical training.Monitor apprentice hours, competencies, and wage progression schedules.Support internal mentors and supervisors to ensure high‑quality on‑the‑job training.Maintain accurate records of completion rates, retention, budgets, and program metrics for audits.Coordinate and execute school career trade shows.Required Skills and Abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employers, apprentices, and educational institutions.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.Knowledge of apprenticeship programs, workforce development, and Department of Labor (DOL) preferred.Proactive communication between schools and Human Resources.Education and Experience:2+ years in workforce development or education administration.Experience working with educational institutions, workforce development agencies, or government programs.Physical Requirements:Up to 20% travel required.Benefits:Comprehensive health benefits including Basic Life, Dependent Life, AD&D, Short‑Term Disability and Long‑Term Disability Insurance.401(k) with company match.Dental, Vision, Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness Insurance.Bonus opportunities and additional incentive programs.WITRON is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Disabled/Veteran/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
