Social Work Degree
Idaho: Bachelor's degree in Social Work; Master's degree preferred.
Illinois: Bachelor's degree in Social Work; Master's degree preferred.
New Mexico: Master's Degree in Social Work required.
Ohio: Bachelor's degree in Social Work; Master's degree preferred.
The bachelor's degree can be in Psychology, sociology, or other field related to Social Work.
Oregon: Master's Degree in Social Work required.
Pennsylvania: Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or other field related to social work; Master's degree preferred.
Bachelor's degree must be supervised by a full-time MSW and have at least 1 year of social work experience in a healthcare setting.
Tennessee: Master''s Degree in Social Work required.
Texas: Bachelor's degree in Social Work; Master's degree preferred.
Virginia: Bachelor's degree in Social Work; Master's degree preferred.
Current State Licensure in Social Work
Idaho: LSW, LMSW, or LCSW
Illinois: LSW or LCSW
New Mexico: LMSW or LCSW
Ohio: LSW, LISW, or LPSW-S
Oregon: Licensed not required.
Pennsylvania: LSW or LCSW, preferred
Tennessee: LMSW, LCSW or or LAPSW can practice under the supervision of an LCSW
Texas: LBSW, LMSW, or LCSW
Virginia: Licensed not required.
Minimum of one year's experience in health care or hospice setting
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required
