Piping Designer - Plant 3D CAD Support - Remote - 1305

We are supporting our client with design, fabrication and installation of complex process equipment that are used to make everything from biotechnology medicine, dairy products, to beverage and drinks, This will be remote work using AutoCAD Plant 3D as the primary modelling and drafting tool.

The successful applicant will be working with our engineering group with product piping and other design and detailing models as well as drawings and schematics. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to implement their experience and develop their careers.

Job Description

You will be part of remote engineering team that is responsible for the design, fabrication and installation of equipment

• Experience with process equipment design used in the pharma industry is required
• Proficiency using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Creation and interpretation of detailed models and drawings and use of software in 3D to create and modify existing parts/products/assemblies.
• Creation and use of Bills of Materials (BOM's) for both production and component purchasing.
• Development and maintenance of product and component databases ensuring they are kept up to date.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience with 2D and 3D software (AutoCAD Plant 3D) and drawings.
• Knowledge of Pharma Industry standards & processes
