Our client in the OK Area area is a division of a world leading manufacturer of aerospace products and is looking for a Design Engineer for an upcoming contract lasting up to 6 months or longer.
Summary:
Investigate vendor installation requirements and technical information and create airframe production installation/fabrication drawings, engineering instructions and related production guidance materials as it pertains to the mechanical and structural aspects of a modification program.
Investigate vendor installation requirements and technical information and create airframe production installation/fabrication drawings, engineering instructions and related production guidance materials as it pertains to the mechanical and structural aspects of a modification program.
Other requirements as listed below.
Develop 3-D models and 2-D drawings to support the installation of mechanical and structural provisions using AutoDesk Inventor
Prepare engineering documents such as Ground Test Procedures, Flight Test Plans/Reports, Maintenance/Flight Manual Supplements, Modification Instructions, etc.;
Liaise with Manufacturing and Production Operations.
Ensure design content meets requirements of Statement of Work (SOW).
Minimum of five (5) years' production liaison engineering or design experience.
Minimum of five (5) years' AutoDesk Inventor experience to include AutoDesk Vault
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
