    Instrumentation & Calibration • Preventive Maintenance • Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

    On-premise role - must be willing to work outside standard day shift hours and on weekends as needed.

    We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to maintain facility cGMP mechanical equipment with minimal supervision. You'll lead complex repairs, perform instrument calibrations, manage work orders, and support facility project upgrades and routine maintenance. This role also involves mentoring other technicians, assisting with troubleshooting, and staying committed to continuous skill development in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

    What you'll do
    • Lead complex mechanical repairs and perform instrument calibrations in compliance with site policies and NIST traceability standards
    • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on production and utility equipment
    • Install, specify, and calibrate process instrumentation and laboratory devices
    • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and automation systems
    • Execute and close on-demand and scheduled work orders
    • Perform lockout/tagout procedures supporting facility upgrades and routine maintenance
    • Read and interpret equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings
    • Maintain accurate documentation of calibration and maintenance activities
    • Participate in training other technicians on new equipment and upgrades
    • Assist operational staff with equipment troubleshooting and problem solving
    • Participate in department and safety meetings; commit to continuous skill development
    What you need
    • High school diploma with 2+ years of experience in equipment, electrical, and/or instrumentation maintenance
    • Familiarity with GMP fundamentals
    • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel required
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to lift 50+ lbs; willingness to wear PPE and work near hazardous materials
    • Flexibility to work outside standard day shift hours and on weekends as needed
    Nice to have
    • Associate's degree in a science or technical discipline
    • Experience in a pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing environment
    • Experience with Delta V Production Control System
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on manual labor
