About the JobAnduril's Supply Chain team is seeking a Material Flow Specialist to join us. As a Materials Specialist, you will execute hands‑on warehouse and production operations to ensure materials flow seamlessly through our manufacturing operations. Working closely with Material Flow Engineers and Warehouse Operations, you will own tactical responsibilities including inventory management, visual workplace systems, and process standardization. This is a foundational role that provides deep operational experience and clear pathways for career growth within our supply chain organization.What You'll DoOwn hands‑on warehouse and production tasks including visual management (labeling, signage), lineside inventory organization, stock relocation, and replenishment system execution (Kanban, Supermarkets)Maintain organized, efficient material flow to support uninterrupted production schedulesCreate and maintain process flow charts to document material handling proceduresIdentify simple variants from standard processes and escalate to Material Flow EngineersAssist in implementing 5S, visual management, and other Lean Manufacturing principles on the production floorProvide tactical execution support for Material Flow Engineering projectsConduct time‑and‑motion studies to gather baseline operational dataParticipate in process improvement initiatives and change management effortsWork primarily with Material Flow Engineers and Warehouse Operations teamsProvide regular progress reports to leadership on task completion and project statusMaintain strong working relationships with Production, Quality, and Strategic Sourcing teamsParticipate in rapid‑response "tiger teams" to support multi‑site warehouse setups, layout optimizations, and operational improvementsTravel to various Anduril locations to execute high‑impact operational projectsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred3–5 years in manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics environmentsBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, inventory control, and replenishment systems (Kanban, Supermarkets)Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel or Sheets for data entry and basic analysis. Exposure to ERP or WMS systems is a plusStrong attention to detail with ability to document processes and provide clear status updates to managementWillingness to travel up to (Insert) to support multi‑site operationsAbility to stand and walk on concrete manufacturing floors for extended periods and lift/move up to (insert)Preferred QualificationsBackground in fast‑paced, high‑growth manufacturing environments (aerospace, automotive, defense, or robotics)Hands‑on experience with time‑and‑motion studies, line balancing, or value stream mappingInterest in designing physical workspaces, lineside storage solutions, or material flow routesStrong spreadsheet capabilities including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic data analysisUnderstanding of how materials, production, and quality functions interact within manufacturing operationsProven track record of executing high‑quality tactical work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlinesSalaryUS Hourly Range $28—$70 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
