Plans, organizes, and directs SOCNORTH's data management and knowledge management programs, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. Serves as an expert, consultant, and advisor to SOCNORTH's Commanding General and senior leaders regarding the development and application of scientific and statistical standards to data evaluation and analysis.
Directs, manages, and leads pioneering efforts to evaluate and adopt emerging data management and analytics technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and hybrid cloud computing, for potential adoption within SOCNORTH.
Serves as the command's expert on data analytics, AI, and ML, providing technical expertise and guidance on complex projects and initiatives. Develops strategies to enhance interoperability and coordination between SOCNORTH's data initiatives and broader DoW efforts.
Executes senior-level coordination to enable collaborative partnerships with SOCNORTH leadership and external stakeholders. Collaborates with Special Operations Forces (SOF) data and artificial intelligence communities of interest to ensure SOCNORTH requirements and concerns are addressed within specified timelines and in accordance with established processes and procedures.
