    As a Management Analyst, you will: Conduct in-depth studies of management problems to determine the extent of needed changes and/or modifications to existing programs and prepare reports recommending or proposing remedial action for the Associate Chief Counsel (ACC) or referral to the Chief Counsel in appropriate cases.     Management Analyst

    As a Management Analyst, you will:

    • Conduct in-depth studies of management problems to determine the extent of needed changes and/or modifications to existing programs and prepare reports recommending or proposing remedial action for the Associate Chief Counsel (ACC) or referral to the Chief Counsel in appropriate cases.
    • Coordinate and prepare responses to requests for information from Chief Counsel's Office or the ACC from information independently obtained or maintained.
    • Analyze complex issues and draft various memoranda and documents as assigned. Work with reviewers to produce final memoranda and coordinate with other offices as required.
    • Provide assistance and guidance to Income Tax and Accounting (ITA) employees in working with the Electronic Files or troubleshooting any issues and concerns in setting up the Electronic Files.
    • Serve as the principal point of contact and coordinator on all aspects of Electronic Counsel Inventory Tracking Environment (eCITE) and ensure timely and accurate input into eCITE operating environment, assist in the development and evolution of systems, and develop reports to analyze inventory trends.
    • Develop detailed plans and goals for the implementation and administration of ITA's eCITE programs.
    • Work with the Executive Assistant and Administrative Officer to ensure that managers are monitoring timeliness and other performance measures. Monitor and evaluate eCITE systems as they relate to the needs of the office. Identify areas in need of improvement; develop and conduct studies concerning the areas in question and make recommendations for changes resulting in approved system(s).
