Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a temporary Make Ready Technician for a local apartment community. The Make Ready Technician will be responsible for ensuring apartments are move-in ready by performing general repairs, cleaning, painting, and light maintenance tasks. Responsibilities: Perform basic repairs such as patching holes, replacing light fixtures, changing locks, and fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues. Paint and touch up walls, doors, and trim as needed. Clean and prepare vacant units for new tenants. Assist with light carpentry, appliance checks, and minor HVAC tasks under supervision. Report larger maintenance concerns to the property manager or maintenance supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications: Previous maintenance, handyman, or make-ready experience preferred but not required. Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Reliable transportation required.
