    Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

    • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for apartment homes
    • Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Prepare vacant apartments for move-in (turns/make-readies)
    • Troubleshoot and repair:
      • HVAC systems
      • Electrical
      • Plumbing
      • Carpentry
      • Appliances
    • Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities
    • Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls (on-call rotation)
    • Track and manage maintenance supplies and inventory
    • Follow all safety, OSHA, and fair housing regulations

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Previous maintenance experience required (multifamily/apartment experience strongly preferred)
    • HVAC experience required; EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
    • Pool experience; CPO preferred but not required
    • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems
    • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
    • Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
