‍️ Position Overview

As an Evening Shift Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide compassionate nursing care while coordinating with physicians, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor, assess, and report changes in resident condition
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Educate residents and families regarding care plans
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment

Qualifications

Required

  • Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position

Preferred

  • Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing
