Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials to internal teams. This role plays a key part in supporting service, maintenance, engineering, and operations by keeping inventory organized, accessible, and moving efficiently across facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain accurate inventory through cycle counting , audits, and system updatesPerform scheduled and ad‑hoc cycle counts , investigate variances, and support inventory adjustmentsTrack inbound and outbound materials using inventory systems (MES/ERP or similar)Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of parts and materialsMonitor inventory levels and flag shortages or discrepancies proactivelySupport service parts inventory and replenishment needsPart Running / Internal SupportDeliver parts and materials to engineering, maintenance, and operations teams as neededSupport urgent part requests and prioritize time‑sensitive deliveriesAssist maintenance teams by staging and delivering service parts.Support Shipping & ReceivingReceive inbound shipments and verify contents against packing lists and purchase ordersPrepare outbound shipments including packaging, labeling, and staging for carrier pickupCoordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materialsMaintain shipping and receiving documentation accuracyEquipment & SafetySafely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all safety, inventory control, and compliance proceduresRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or operations preferredValid driver's license with a good driving recordForklift driving experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and staging materialsBasic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periodsThe US hourly range for this full‑time position is between $35/hr to $40/hr.The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
