    Job SummaryCoordinates the purchase and control of supplies and equipment with occasional guidance.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentifies, locates and purchases materials, supplies and equipment in a cost effective manner. Completes necessary purchasing documentation.Maintains accurate inventory of assets and supplies. Forecasts inventory needs.Prioritizes purchase requests to provide timely delivery of necessary products.May maintain product information and warranty files.May be responsible for patient charge capture for dispensed medical supplies to ensure accurate patient billing.The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.Technical CapabilitiesData Entry (Intermediate): The ability to transcribe information from the original source into an electronic system according to written and verbal instructions efficiently and accurately.Cost Allocation (Intermediate): Analyzing and recording costs to the appropriate accounts.Purchasing (Fundamental Awareness): Understands the concepts behind supplier relations and supply chain management.
