Inventory Management SpecialistWilliamsburg, VA, US4 days ago Requisition ID: 1629Job Title: Inventory Management SpecialistPosition Number: INV MS 001Location: Williamsburg, VAWorksite: NMRLC Cheatham AnnexTravel: As requiredClearance: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain Government background investigation and CACDate Added: April 9, 2026Job Summary:The Inventory Management Specialist supports warehouse and logistics operations by managing receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, and shelf‑life activities.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, inspecting, inventorying, storing, issuing, packaging, and shipping material.Execute logistics chain management tasks from receipt through final disposition.Inspect incoming material and ensure accurate documentation within inventory systems.Store and safeguard material in accordance with warehousing procedures and storage plans.Rotate stock using first-in/first-out (FIFO) principles to maintain shelf-life integrity.Process returns and disposal actions in accordance with procedures and regulations.Operate material handling equipment and delivery vehicles safely.Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory transactions and shelf-life management.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Required Qualifications and Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.Specialized Experience:Experience performing receiving, inventory control, storage, shipping, returns, and shelf‑life management functions.Certifications:Valid driver's license; authorization to operate up to a 1.5‑ton stake bed truck and 4,000–6,000 lb forklifts.#J-18808-Ljbffr
