Shares given yearly based on salary.Note: This position is not remote and RJW will not be providing relocation assistance.Job PurposeThe Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers concerned with inventorying materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard.ResponsibilitiesMaintain layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors.Study records and recommend remedial actions for non‑usable, slow moving, and excess stock.Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures to determine adequacy of stock levels.Schedule work for special and periodic inventories.Prepare composite reports from individual reports of Inventory Specialists.Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions.Issue written and oral instructions and expedite workflow with team members.Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.Oversee inbound associates in their daily tasks and job responsibilities.Other tasks as assigned by manager.Additional ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Write routine reports and correspondence.Physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.Responsible for payroll validations for all respective IC and Inbound associates.Utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.QualificationsMinimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, coordinating cycle count programs, product rotation.PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.Language SkillsMust be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and speak English.Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.Mathematical and Reasoning SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, divide; compute ratios, percentages; draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and deal with diverse variables.Determine “root cause” of problems and recommend corrective action.Computer SkillsKnowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software.Physical DemandsOccasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.Operate phone systems using keyboards and buttons.Speak clearly over telephones.Work in indoor office environment; repetitive hand motion; extended hours; handle stressed situations.Work EnvironmentExposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.Noise level ranges from quiet to moderately loud.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesTransportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and StorageGet notified about new Inventory Control Supervisor jobs in Mesquite, TX .#J-18808-Ljbffr
