Position OverviewSupervise, lead and direct warehouse team assigned to the Inventory Control department. Coordinate daily activities to ensure they are handled in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Secondary responsibilities include coordinating a Quality control program, managing additional project responsibility as they arise.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPrioritize daily work schedule for assigned warehouse team and set employee productivity targetsAddress and resolve inventory area operational, system-related and/or dealership issuesMonitor and replenish any supplies and equipment needed in the inventory areaProvide coaching to personnel and develop a productive work teamEnsure timely updates of daily operation reports and data entry (O/S, Damage, Ocean Log, Productivity Tracking, etc.)Ensure operational training of personnel in the receiving and inventory functionManage the inventory count activities, develop/maintain processes to improve inventory accuracy and ensure adherence to auditor requirementsSupervise quality control personnel and maintain parts locations to maximize efficiency of warehouse operationsOversee the pre-pack program to help reduce freight claimsMonitor and comply with custom and import requirementsComplete annual performance reviews of assigned staffCounsel personnel on performance issues as neededHandle all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, ensuring that daily inventory is being performedAnalyze and modify parts storage processes, equipment and layout designs to fit current and future business requirementsAnalyze inventory pick frequencies to modify storage rules or recommend disposition as requiredAnalyze and monitor various transactional activities: (i.e. Air freight lines, Variance report, Item status reports, referral lines report, PO and ETA reports, Claims, etc.)Responsible for maintenance and performance of RF picking devicesOpen/close facility as requiredAll other duties as assignedThe salary range for this role is $68,000 to $78,000 per year. However, it is important to note that at Porsche compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset.Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
