Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range $30.00/hr - $32.00/hrJob Title: Compliance SpecialistPrimary Location: Orlando, FLShift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMJob Type: 24 months- Contract to HirePosition OverviewAs a member of the *** customs team, the individual will provide guidance relating to US Customs processes, as well as facilitate transactional support for US imports and exports.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit clearance instructions to customs brokers while ensuring full compliance with US import and internal requirementsWork with various importing requirements such as FDA, EPA, AD/CVD, Section 201, 301, 232, quotas and Free Trade AgreementsMonitor U.S. imports to ensure timely clearance and resolve problems as necessaryEnsure full compliance for export transactions, including the review of export documentation, filing of Electronic Export Information and record retentionInterface with customs brokers, internal departments and suppliers to obtain needed information and ensure consistency with defined import and export processesRequired Knowledge/Skills, Education, and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or High School Diploma and relevant years of experience2+ years of direct US import and export experienceDirect experience with reviewing, preparing and processing import entries and export shipmentsExcellent knowledge of US Customs regulations, US Tariff database, General Rules of Interpretation and customs brokerage activitiesAdvanced knowledge of trade preferences (such as USMCA), duty minimizing programs (such as US Goods Returned) and valuation regulationsStrong interpersonal attributes including high ethical standards, strong organizational and communication skills, high attention to detail, highly self-motivated, and a team playerExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsEffective written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; PowerPoint a plusPreferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and ExperienceExperience with SAP preferredLicensed US Customs Broker preferredSeniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Employment type ContractJob function Job function AdministrativeReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at TalentBridge by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Import Export Specialist” roles.
