Provides professional and administrative-level support to all functional areas of the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on recruitment and onboarding of all City personnel, and the management of employee records/HRIS. The incumbent has specific responsibilities to fully manage the City's seasonal staffing needs for recruiting, hiring and on-boarding processes. Additionally, the incumbent provides professional and administrative support to all areas of the HR department including benefits, compensation, HRIS, performance management, training, personnel record maintenance, wellness and safety.

Education and/or Experience
Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or closely related field; OR an Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or closely related field and a minimum of 3 years of recent, full-time experience in a human resources function utilizing basic knowledge of employment laws and in providing recruitment and on-boarding services. Prior experience in effectively utilizing HRIS and ATS programs strongly preferred. Must demonstrate proficient knowledge of utilizing social media and online websites for communicating recruitment/marketing/promotion.
Computer Skills
Proficient working knowledge of HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook email, and Contact management. Working knowledge of utilizing various social media for business promotion/recruitment.
Other Skills and Abilities
Operate common office equipment, telephone, PC, calculator, copy machines, printers, faxes, etc. Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for traveling to/from off-site job fairs and related recruitment events.
