Compensation Range: $19.00 - $21.00/Hour
Purpose
The HR Coordinator is responsible for managing administrative and support duties as it relates to the Company's Human Resources Department.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Assist with full cycle recruitment processes, and MIT program
- Support company leave of absence programs through third party vendor
- Supports various employee transactions such as offboarding, compliance training/tracking, LOA compliance, Employee changes, File management
- Perform HRIS audits to ensure full compliance with I9s, RBS, Serv Safe, Anti-harassment training etc.
- Assist with data entry via HRIS, ATS and other HR related systems
- Create new employee personnel files and provide assistance with file maintenance & VOE requests
- Prepare employee data and reporting as needed
- Provide administrative support to with a strong focus on process improvement and identifying opportunities for efficiency to provide best in class programs
- Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy
- Strong team mentality and passion for employee growth, and development
- General knowledge of the restaurant/ hospitality industry
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 21+years of age
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to prepare and give presentations in front of large groups.
- Ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks as necessary.
- Excellent computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to navigate through the internet and various software programs used by the company.
- High School Diploma required; continuing education preferred.
- Bilingual; Spanish (Preferred but not required)
- 1-2 years experience in a restaurant/hospitality setting
Working Conditions
- Small to medium office or shared workspace
- Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holiday
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Ability to repeat the same movements for long periods of time
- Ability to understand the speech of another person
- Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand
