Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice.
Shift: Four 10's / Stay Late once a week / On Call required
Endo Procedure Nurses start at 7:00am and work 10 hour days. They have a late stay once a week and one call weekend approx every 9 weeks depending on staffing. Sat is a 10 hr work day but they are on call for the rest of the day. (Cases are done in OR and Sunday is an ALL day call. Cases begin in department and when finished they go home but can be called back to do cases again in OR.)
Must be BLS certified prior to start date. ACLS and PALS required after 3 months of employment.
Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $32.50, max of salary range is $51.10. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.
Required Qualifications
Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
