Description

Capital Group is seeking a Global Travel Operations Specialist to oversee the operational delivery and continuous improvement of our global travel program.Key Responsibilities Execute and drive delivery of the corporate travel program, acting as primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external travel partners.Own and optimize travel booking tools and platforms, ensuring appropriate configuration, functionality, policy alignment, and effective user experience.Manage vendor performance and relationships, monitor service levels and key performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement.Exercise independent judgment and discretion in resolving complex travel-related issues, including guideline interpretation, supplier terms, and service disruptions.Identify and implement process improvements, including the use of AI and automation, to enhance efficiency, scalability, and traveler experience.Execute global travel initiatives, communications, and training efforts to support program adoption, compliance, and continuous improvement.Analyze travel data and program performance, identify trends, risks, and cost‑saving opportunities, and translate insights into actionable enhancements.Support travel risk management and duty‑of‑care efforts, including traveler tracking, disruption response, and time‑sensitive judgment.Produce dashboards, reporting and strategic reports to track performance, compliance and sustainability.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications 3+ years of experience in corporate travel management, preferably within a global program environment.Strong knowledge of travel operations, policies, supplier engagement, negotiation, and compliance.Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and influence skills across all levels.Proficient in Concur Travel and other booking platforms; familiarity with AI‑enabled tools and emerging technologies.Strong program and project management capabilities with a track record of driving cost efficiencies and resolving complex issues.Advanced data analysis, benchmarking, and innovation skills to optimize travel operations.Knowledge of global travel regulations, risk management, safety, and security protocols.Sound judgment, proactive problem solving and ability to challenge status quo.Compensation & Benefits Base salary ranges by location: Charlotte – $77,610–$124,176; Southern California – $90,440–$144,704; NewYork – $95,871–$153,394. Eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with 15% company contribution.
