Food Service Worker (Full Time)

Texas Woman's University is hiring full-time Food Service Workers at their Denton, TX location.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of prior food service experience to qualify for the position.

The pay range for this role is between $13.00 and $14.00 per hour.

The schedule for this job is full-time, with varying days and hours, and training will be provided.

Job Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed. Essential duties and responsibilities include performing prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables, weighing and measuring designated ingredients, carrying pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards, storing food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures, cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils, distributing supplies, utensils and portable equipment, utilizing approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control, serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service, resolving customer concerns and relaying relevant information to supervisor, ensuring compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures, assuring compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements, and performing other duties as assigned.
