Specifications Specialist Contractor
The Specifications Specialist Contractor is responsible for:
Developing finished product specifications
Working with a cross-functional team to ensure specifications are complete, consistent and are released in a timely fashion
Anticipating and effectively prioritizing projects against changing business demands
Reviewing specifications for conformance to performance governance standards and naming conventions
Identifying specification inconsistencies and driving spec accuracy. Proactively identifying bottlenecks in the specification process and recommending solutions
Serving as point of contact for all specification needs on their supporting platform and leading early management activities. Summarize and report project activity for FPS and business teams
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Labeling or related field
Basic understanding of product commercialization process from product design to manufacturing
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
Experience writing technical specifications
Good interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively network face-to-face with business teams
Good organizational skills
Self-directed, motivated and good time management
