Description
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and performs monthly financial close in accordance with GAAP and accrual accounting
Reviews income statements and balance sheets ensuring accuracy and completeness with ability to investigate and explain variances
Managescash activity including bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and bond operating transfers
Oversees reserves and reserve reimbursement requests with clear understanding of reserve structures
Ensures compliance with financial, regulatory, and contractual reporting requirements
Oversees financial operations, fund requests, and compliance reporting for communities in the preopening phase

Develops and manages annual operating budgets using Solver
Prepares budget-to-actual analyses, cost reports and financial compliance reports as required
Participates in ownership calls, budget presentations, and financial discussions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Demonstrates analytical skills with comprehension and application of GAAP
Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience with senior housing preferred
Experience with Solver, Intacct, or Yardi hosted property management software and other applications preferred
