FEA Thermal Analyst

We have an immediate need for a FEA Thermal Analyst to help with a FEA thermal analysis project with our client in Ireland. This will be a remote, temporary role.

PROJECT SUMMARY:

The concerned components are containers and lids which house parts during an atmosphere furnace cycle. They are showing premature distortion and cracking after undergoing heat cycles. The parts are made from Inconel 601, and subject to furnace cycles of over 1000°C, over 6 to 8 hours.

PROFILE:

• Degree in an engineering discipline and 5+ years relevant experience
• Thermal analysis experience on an aerospace program
• Detailed knowledge of CFD/thermal simulation
• Skilled in mathematical modeling, and numerical simulation of thermal systems
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Excel, and other analysis tools
• Good communication and collaboration skills
