    Driver & Operations Assistant

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    Client Services: Greets clients and assists with menus. Acts as a liaison between clients and client services, especially for those clients that do not have means of communication. Checks for clients' certification through the SDIS system and Ryan White files. Assists with filing and data entry for client information. Attends meetings and training workshops as requested. Maintains all records in a timely, accurate, legible and clear manner. Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Quality Assurance efforts, grants, awards, contracts and other administrative obligations as required. Assists supervisor with marketing and promotional activities of the programs. Participates in agency developmental activities as requested.

    Operation: Inventory counts and tracks program inventory. Verifies program deliveries with the purchase order, reporting issues to the supervisor. Dates all program deliveries, promptly stores frozen, refrigerated and shelf items. Packs Food Bank groceries and packs meals and groceries for home delivery and loads the vans. Picks up donations and community Food Bank products as requested. Maintains breaks by breaking down boxes and clearing workspaces. Cleans refrigerators and coolers on a regularly scheduled basis. Assists with maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Operation Driver: Delivers meals and/or groceries to the homes of FFLN Home Delivered Meals and/or Food Bank Grocery Delivery Program clients. Assists with the pick-up, packing, and distribution of all food packages on a daily basis. Makes deliveries and pick-ups from vendors. Maintains daily vehicle usage logs and expeditiously reports all vehicle problems to the supervisor. Assists supervisor in arranging vehicle repair/maintenance schedules to ensure adequate delivery coverage. Participates in agency developmental activities as requested.

    Physical Requirements: This work requires the following physical activities: frequent walking and talking in person, bending, standing, and stretching/reaching. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in office settings.

    Education: High School diploma required.
