The Conservation and Environment Delivery center is seeking the talent of
someone with strong administrative skills to help manage the business
requirements for the Commonwealth’s business approval process. This position
will focus on facilitating and processing the agency requests received by the
delivery center from supported agencies, ensuring that there is good
communication with our customers throughout the process. The business approval
process is long and complex, and there is currently a backlog of requests. To
succeed in this position, candidates will need to be a self-starter who is
organized and detail oriented, as well as possess excellent customer service
skills.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
1. Working directly with customers in our agencies to gather and document
business requirements needed to comply with established policy and
procedures within the organization
2. Gathering, preparing, and submitting information and documentation to the
various security, legal and administrative approvers required in the
process.
3. Meeting with a diverse group of stakeholders, to include legal, business,
and security teams, to help ensure timely processing and approval of
business requests.
4. Reviewing, interpreting, and providing input on contract agreements and
other business-related contractual documents.
5. Collaborating with vendors ensuring clear communication of Commonwealth
requirements and cloud use documentation where required.
6. Researching whether there is already a current solution in use in the
Commonwealth that would meet the documented business needs
7. Providing general guidance to our customers on the business approval
process and its underlying policies and processes.
8. Overall tracking and managing of the backlog of requests.
9. Facilitating any requests for additional information that may arise during
the approval process.
10. Serving as an overall point of contact and subject matter expert for both
agency and delivery center staff.
Required Experience:
1. Required: 2+ years full-time experience managing projects, program
management, or process administration (does not need to be in an official
capacity as a project/program manager).
2. Required: 3+ years full-time experience dealing directly with customers.
3. Required: 1+ years of experience in vendor management.
4. Required: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
