    Description The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for having the right products, in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity globally by completing the demand plans of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) corporate process for the specified business unit(s).Location Gainesville, FLKey Responsibilities Coordinate and ensure the completion of global demand plans including extension of 18‑month rolling forecast and mix updates, at the aggregate product line, detail SKU and customer level for mature and new products/new markets ensuring alignment between revenue and demand plansCollaborate with the commercial and marketing counterpart to provide/obtain sales, product and market related informationEnsure 24‑month rolling product plans become inputs to Demand Management for creating demand and financial plans and contributes to the preparation of scenarios for financial/budget reconciliation as neededPartner with cross‑functional teams to gain alignment, collect, document and validate the assumptions of demand plans to support financial and business goalsEnsure completion of monthly deliverables and perform forecast/demand changes comparison summary/net impact evaluation reports for decision making and management reviewsAnalyze performance and metrics to identify causes for forecast error and bias and develop and implement correctionsCoordinate cross‑functional discussions to document and challenge Demand Plan assumptions and refine the forecastIdentify areas for Demand Planning and Demand Control process improvements and lead implementation as neededCollaborate with team members to drive standardization, automation and implementation of advanced demand planning/control toolsParticipate in weekly and monthly cross‑functional teams to maintain Demand/Supply balance and resolve imbalances; develop and evaluate scenario analysis to resolve imbalancesManage and execute monthly kit build process activities including build forecast adjustments, reallocations and build workbenchLead continuous improvement efforts to improve the demand planning capabilitiesPartner with the business unit to identify and initiate improvements on business unit product lifecycle including product transitions, new product launches and replacement of expiring productAssist in developing annual budgets and cost‑effectiveness initiativesEnsure use of identified forecasting system/software to analyze monthly forecast dataKnow and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and international standardsAssist and support other employees, teams and sales personnel as necessaryEducation Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution requiredMBA preferredExperience 6‑10 years experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain or FinancePrevious experience working in a medical device or FDA regulated industryExperience with QAD ERP/MRP system and Demand Planning softwareFunctional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Proficiency with various software packages including Microsoft Excel and Power PointWorking knowledge in Power BI (Building & Designing), Tableau, or similar business intelligence systemsMust possess and demonstrate strong leadership, team building, and problem‑solving abilitiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsSelf‑starter, proactive, well organized and able to make sound decisions from proper data analysisAbility to build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
