    Description

    Role & Clinical Scope:
    • Position Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
    • Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (Day Shift).
    • Setting: Hospital Operating Room / Surgical Services Department.
    • Clinical Specialty Scope: Broad-spectrum surgical procedures including General, Orthopedic (Total Joints), Neuro, Endocrine, Oncologic, Breast, GI/Colorectal (open and laparoscopic), and Hepatobiliary cases.
    • Primary Scope: Function primarily as a scrub technologist in the OR (with potential circulating assistance). Maintain strict aseptic technique, prepare OR suites, operate specialized surgical equipment, and maintain a calm, quiet surgical environment.

    Schedule & Hours:
    • Shift Type: Days (Four 10-Hour Shifts: 4x10s).
    • Shift Times: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM (or 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM).
    • Weekly Hours: 40-Hour Weekly Guarantee.
    • Weekend Requirements: To Be Determined / Holidays required as needed.
    • On-Call Requirements: Yes (On-Call coverage required).

    Submission & Candidate Requirements:
    • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current CST experience [REQUIRED].
    • High-Proficiency Specialties: Demonstrated high proficiency scrubbing Orthopedics, Total Joints, and Neuro cases [REQUIRED].
    • Scrub Breadth: Hands-on scrubbing experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, and Endoscopy [REQUIRED].
    • National Certification: Active NBSTSA Certification [REQUIRED AT SUBMISSION].
    • State Registration: Active State Medical Technician Registration [REQUIRED IN HAND AT SUBMISSION — NO PENDING CERTIFICATIONS].
    • Life Support: Active AHA BLS Certification [REQUIRED AT SUBMISSION].
    • Transportation: Candidate must possess their own reliable personal vehicle [REQUIRED].
