Senior Cost Accountant

** Allentown, PA**
** $100,000 - $125,000 + Benefits & 10-20% bonus**
** Direct Hire | Full Time | Manufacturing**

_ Must have cost accounting experience in manufacturing and be able to be in office 5 days a week_

We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join a growing manufacturing business in Robesonia, PA.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll partner with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to improve product costing, inventory performance and manufacturing profitability.

What You'll Do

• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support product costing, profitability analysis and margin improvement
• Partner with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain on continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete inventory reconciliations and investigate inventory variances
• Monitor inventory turns, aging and inventory accuracy
• Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend corrective actions
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and manufacturing performance reports
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• 5+ years' cost accounting experience within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting and financial reporting
• Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP experience is essential (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
