BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated Component Engineer to join our Engineering Team, focused on DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages) support and Obsolescence Management for an exciting opportunity to support our commercially availableCloud-based application providing DMSMS services to customers around the globe. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor component lifecycles, identify risks within our Bills of Materials (BOMs), and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the continued availability of components for new designand legacy systems. You will work closely with design engineers, customers, and suppliers to manage parts quality, counterfeit avoidance, and component selection. This role will be working directly with and providing leadership to an experienced obsolescence management team as we transition our legacy applications into state-of-the-art containerized microservices-based tools utilizing automation and artificial intelligence to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
