    Compliance Specialist

    What You'll Do

    As a Compliance Specialist I, you'll work with internal teams, agency partners, vendors, and regulators to support important compliance activities. This role is a great fit if you enjoy variety, solving problems, staying organized, and learning new systems and processes.

    Licensing Administration

    Help manage agency and producer licensing activities, including appointments, terminations, renewals, records, invoices, and vendor tools. Stay connected to state licensing requirements and partner with Sales and Marketing and other teams on licensing updates.

    Filing Coordination

    Coordinate regulatory filings for company products, including routine, renewal, and project-related submissions. Prepare materials, track filing status, maintain records, and help monitor important regulatory deadlines and bureau communications.

    Compliance Operations Support

    Keep compliance records, reference materials, documentation, and department procedures organized and up to date. Support research, data gathering, system testing, workflow improvements, projects, expenses, invoices, budgeting, and reconciliation activities.

    General Responsibilities

    Bring professionalism, confidentiality, strong customer service, and a continuous improvement mindset to your work. Use AI-assisted workflow tools and take on other responsibilities that support the team's success.

    You are highly organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You communicate clearly and professionally in writing and conversation. You enjoy working independently while also collaborating with others across the company. You are comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. You are willing to learn company systems, compliance technologies, and AI-assisted tools. You have experience in insurance operations, regulatory compliance, licensing, filings, or a related area, or you are eager to build that experience. You bring curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a helpful, customer-focused approach.

    Your Training & Experience

    An associate degree is preferred, but equivalent education and experience will be considered. Two or more years of experience in insurance, compliance, licensing, agency services, regulatory affairs, or a related administrative role is preferred. Professional insurance designations or licensing experience are helpful, but not required.
