The Communication Manager serves as the central coordinator for Oliver Gospel Mission's fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and development systems.
This role translates fundraising strategy into executable campaigns by managing donor segmentation, campaign timelines, communications planning, performance reporting, and development workflows. Working closely with the Director of Development, Communication Manager translates departmental strategy into coordinated execution and measurable results. The position ensures that fundraising campaigns and communications are timely, targeted, compelling, and effective.
The Communication Manager serves as the operational leader of the Development Department, ensuring fundraising campaigns, donor communications, reporting, and support functions are executed effectively and consistently. While fundraising strategy remains the responsibility of the Director of Development, this role provides day-to-day leadership for campaign execution, communications coordination, data operations, and project management.
The Communication Manager supervises communications and data operations staff and serves as the primary owner of campaign execution across direct mail, digital communications, stewardship initiatives, and special appeals.
