    Description

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide support for all Kaiser Permanente Mental Health Career Accelerator (Accelerator) clinical supervisor support initiatives, including providing training and support activities. Specifically, the Accelerator project supports candidates and their clinical supervisors via means that are culturally-anchored and trauma-informed. The primary focus of the project is to support candidates toward clinical licensure and to reduce barriers to licensure. The Accelerator fosters trauma-informed clinical skills and culturally-informed values that inform the work of early career practitioners and their clinical supervisors, equipping candidates to effectively facilitate work within the Hawaii communities in which they are rooted.
    • Support the Accelerator project in researching and developing training curriculum, synchronous and asynchronous, that is culturally-grounded and trauma informed, and that incorporates best practices of clinical supervision.
    • Work in collaboration with the PI, project staff, Graduate Assistant, and community partners.
    • Lead Accelerator initiatives related to clinical supervision, including providing asynchronous and synchronous training, as defined by the goals of the Accelerator program.
    • Prepare quarterly and year-end report according to funder's specifications related to clinical supervision and the Accelerator project.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Possession of a baccalaureate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling Psychology or related field and 3 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities in the field of social work, culturally-grounded practice, trauma-informed care, clinical supervision; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
    • Considerable working knowledge of principles, practices and techniques in the area of providing training for social services programs, clinicians, or supervisors. as demonstrated by the broad knowledge of the full range of pertinent standard and evolving concepts, principles and methodologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop synchronous and asynchronous curriculum, resolve wide ranging complex problems through the use of creative reasoning and logic to accurately determine the cause of the problems and the resolution of the problems in an effective, innovative and timely manner.
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
    • Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer, apply word processing software, Zoom, and applications, and technology related to creating and providing synchronous and asynchronous trainings
    • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills

    Desirable Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling Psychology
    • Experience developing work for publication related to social work practice, clinical services, and supervision.
    • Expertise in trauma-informed and culturally-informed curriculum development and training.
    • Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) and experience providing clinical supervision
    • Able to draft project reports and grants for funders.
    • Competency in cross-cultural, decolonized, culturally-grounded, interdisciplinary practice
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
