Description
The Fountain Group is currently seeking a CAD Designer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Granville, OH. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay Rate:$40-42/hr
Duration: 10.5 months (Possible extension/conversion based on performance and budget)
Main Responsibilities
- The role focuses on creation of 3D models and detailed drawings to accelerate prototype development as well as refine existing manufacturing designs.
- Create drawings for prototype concepts and equipment in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
- Generate models for 3d printed prototypes.
- Assists with building product and process prototypes and test stands.
- Runs prototype testing and evaluation in partnership with engineers.
- An technical certification, associate degree or higher is required.
- Experience with 3d modeling and drawing creation using CAD software required (Autodesk Inventor, Autocad, or SolidWorks).
- Experience assembling drawings for production is required.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
