Position Overview The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager by ensuring a positive customer and employee experience and driving sales and profitability for the location. The Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in day-to-day operations, including overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, driving sales, and enhancing customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.Location Address: 3179 S Peoria Ct, Aurora, CO 80014Pay: $25.00 + BenefitsThis position will remain open for at least one week, until 5/28/2026 but may remain open beyond that time.Schedule: Full time / including weekendsMajor Areas Of ResponsibilityMonitor sales performance and identify opportunities to drive revenueSupervise the operation of the store and team members, task delegation, and scheduling of team membersEnsure all transactions and operations comply with local, state, and company regulationsSupport all aspects of inventory management to ensure compliance with local, state, and company regulations, including but not limited to ensuring inventory movement is properly documented; conduct regular audits; support month/quarter/year-end inventory processesMonitor inventory levels and assist with receiving, tracking, and reconciling deliveries and lead inventory countsInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner in collaboration with Store ManagerSupport all people leadership activities including, but not limited to, performance management, payroll & scheduling, recruiting & hiring, training & onboardingLead by example in curating an exceptional customer experience, including performing guest transactions, and educating customers and employees on cannabis products, usage methods, and safetyManage and respond to escalated customer issues as neededMaintain knowledge of all computer and technology systems and softwareMinimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities)All applicants must be at least 21 years of ageAt least 1 year of retail management or supervisory experienceExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build and manage teamsDetail oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong business acumen and understanding of how to measure success through KPIs and financial targetsExperience and strong attention to detail in cash handling and POS operationsAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysTravel %: 0FLSA status: Non-Exempt 2Additional Abilities RequiredThis role is performed in a traditional retail setting which requires the ability to have a high stress tolerance and be flexible and adaptable. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, use hands to perform manual tasks, use computer equipment such as POS and email, and lift or move up to 50 pounds (or more with assistance).
