Assembly Technician (HVAC Manufacturing) - 1st Shift | $20.50/hr | La Crosse, WI

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Assembly Technicians / Production Assemblers / HVAC Assemblers for a leading heat exchange and refrigeration manufacturing facility in La Crosse, WI. Pay & Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Pay: $20.50/hour
• Flexible start time available (5:30 AM or 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble large industrial HVAC units in a manufacturing environment
• Accurately read and use a tape measure
• Install components, caulk units, tape units, and clean finished products
• Assist with framing and squaring units while following all safety procedures
• Read blueprints to complete assembly tasks correctly
• Operate hand and power tools including drills, grinders, and sanders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow and learn all quality control procedures
• Participate in on-the-job training programs
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Support other departments and tasks as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience with hand and power tools required
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure proficiently (testing required)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Reliable work history (minimum 1 year recent experience preferred)
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
• Good attendance, strong work ethic, and dependable attitude
• Effective communication skills and commitment to workplace safety
