We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with a construction background to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with high-volume invoice processing and job cost accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor and subcontractor invoices
- Match invoices to purchase orders and job costs
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Maintain accurate AP records and support month-end close
Qualifications:- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Construction industry experience required
- Knowledge of job costing and purchase orders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
