Summary:

• Facilitate the development of weekly and monthly metrics reporting related to organizational performance.
• Create weekly/monthly performance metrics, dashboards, and streamline reporting of results for the Materials organization.
• Implement and maintain custom data and analytic reporting to provide insight into and facilitate day-to-day operations.
• Lead clients from simple, pre-existing business intelligence solutions to forward-looking capabilities using advanced predictive and prescriptive tools.
• Work across functional teams and partner with peers and leaders on process change implementation and ongoing measurement and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the development of weekly and monthly metrics reporting related to organizational performance.
• Collect data to identify root cause of problems on performances and implement solutions for improvements.
• Align improvement to performance shortfalls and analyze best practices for techniques, processes, and implementation.
• Determine data needs, collect data, and select analytical techniques to conduct root cause analysis and maintain operational tools and reports.
• Create analysis that accurately describes the state of the business.
• Create complex and automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery ensuring accurate data transformation.
• Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, and write clear and concise data findings using power queries and Power BI reporting.
• Apply judgment to solve problems of diverse scope.
• Assist in coaching and developing less experienced staff and end users.
• Understand business process needs and develop solutions.
• Travel requirement up to 20%.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience.
• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science/Information Systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft BI stack including Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI, Power Platform, and Power Automate.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivots & Tables, V Look up, etc.).
• Experience with metrics/dashboard creation, reporting, and demonstrated experience in data visualization best practices using Power BI.
• Experience working with data stored across multiple databases/data sources.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with utility operation.

Preferred Skills:

• MBA or other advanced degrees.
• Advanced statistical, modeling, and process improvement knowledge.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Advanced reporting knowledge and experience with multiple reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter with the ability to keep pace and contribute to a high-performing team.
