Job Summary:
Seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in electric distribution systems, data analysis, and utility operations to support grid reliability and asset management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze electrical distribution systems and equipment performance.
- Interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts to identify potential transformer and line defects.
- Perform distribution power flow analysis and support protective device coordination.
- Collaborate with engineering, field operations, and Protection & Control teams to validate data-driven insights.
- Analyze large datasets to improve predictive models and operational efficiency.
- Support investigations and recommend solutions for distribution system reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of electric distribution systems, protective devices, and power flow analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Local candidates only; must be able to work onsite in San Ramon, CA, five days per week.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $54.00 per hour.
