Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the accounts payable department. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and disbursements of payments. The supervisor leads the AP team, resolves complex payment issues, and optimizes departmental workflows.This role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.The hourly compensation range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.Applications for this position will be accepted until August 15, 2026.Essential Job Functions / Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely and accurate execution of payment runs, including checks, ACH, and other payment methodsReview and approve invoice processing, including the application of appropriate tax requirementsResponsible for training new and current employees on essential job functionsEnsure the accounts payable process complies with internal financial controls, company policies and external regulatory requirementsAssist in reviewing and approving employee travel and expense reports in accordance with company policiesAssist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and statement reconciliationsReconcile vendor statements on a timely basis and resolve discrepanciesParticipate in system implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiativesManage employee timecards, attendance records, and time‑off requests for Accounts Payable clerksPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience requiredMinimum of 2 years of accounting experience required2 years of supervisory or lead experience preferredKnowledge, Skill & AbilitiesProficient knowledge in accounting principles and internal controlsKnowledge of full accounts payable cycle, including processing, payment, disbursement, vendor management and reconciliationKnowledge of travel and expense policy and processFamiliarity with tax laws and regulationsProficient knowledge in using Coupa and/or Concur or accounting softwareAbility to review financial documents for accuracy and completenessExcellent organization skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to supervise and mentor members of the teamStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to make sound decisions independentlyAbility to address and solve disputesAbility to work effectively with other departmentsAbility to handle confidential informationAdditional InformationWork environment & physical demandsAbility to stand, type and sit at desk and computer for most of the work shifts and disseminate a significant amount of informationNo adverse or hazardous conditionsNot required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs individually or with assistanceAbility to work in an office or hybrid work environmentJob BenefitsHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance ProgramsFlexible Spending Account ProgramsLife Insurance ProgramsPaid Time Off ProgramsPaid Leave Programs401(k) Savings PlanEmployee Ski Pass and Dependent Ski PassesOther company perksThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
