Job Description
Med-Scribe, Inc. is partnering with a growing specialty behavioral health practice to hire a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Clinician (LMSW). Based in Rochester, NY, this practice provides evidence-based mental health care for individuals living with chronic pain, chronic illness, and other complex health conditions.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career clinician who has some experience providing direct clinical services outside of graduate school and is looking to continue developing their skills in a supportive, collaborative practice. The team values clinicians who are curious, adaptable, and interested in helping patients build practical coping skills and make meaningful progress.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will conduct diagnostic assessments and provide individual therapy using structured, evidence-based treatment approaches. The practice emphasizes practical interventions, skill development, and goal-oriented care to help patients manage the emotional and psychological challenges associated with chronic health conditions. This position is available on a part-time or full-time basis, with the opportunity to begin part-time and gradually build toward a full-time caseload. Clinicians interested in full-time employment should anticipate a 3-6 month ramp-up period while developing their caseload. The practice offers a hybrid work model with a combination of in-office and virtual sessions. Fully remote arrangements may be considered for part-time clinicians. Youll also have access to clinical supervision, administrative support, and ongoing professional development.
