Job Description

Med-Scribe is partnering with a growing specialty behavioral health practice to identify an experienced LCSW, LMHC or LMSW, who is passionate about providing evidence-based trauma treatment within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative practice specializing in the treatment of individuals living with chronic pain, trauma, anxiety, and depression through whole-person, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Providing individual psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based trauma-focused interventions
• Maintaining a clinical caseload of approximately 12-24 direct service hours per week
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Participating in Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy training and monthly clinical case consultation
• Making referrals to additional behavioral health or community resources when appropriate

Job Requirements

• Current New York State LMSW, LMHC or LCSW license
• Minimum of 1 year of psychotherapy experience
• Experience implementing trauma-focused interventions such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, or similar evidence-based trauma treatments is required
• Comfort working with clients experiencing complex trauma presentations
