We are seeking a Production Control Specialist to support a high-volume manufacturing environment by driving backlog reduction, expediting critical work orders, and maintaining ERP/MRP data accuracy. In this hands-on role, you will work directly within production systems to resolve aged or stalled work orders, identify material shortages and process bottlenecks, coordinate hot-job priorities, and help keep work-in-process moving across multiple work centers. The ideal candidate has experience with production scheduling, backlog remediation, data cleanup, or manufacturing expediting, along with strong ERP/MRP system knowledge such as SAP, Costpoint, or similar platforms. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, communicate status and risks effectively, and support occasional off-shift or overtime coverage as business needs require. Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other complex manufacturing environments is highly valued.
Compensation: $45.00 - 60.00/hr depending on level and location
