Hourly rate: $18.00-$42.66Work Week: Less than 15 hours a weekBenefits: There are no benefits associated with these positionsGeneral Responsibilities: Using TCP to clock in and out, as well as approve time workedPrepping space and materials for tutoring sessionsAssisting with daily attendanceProviding academic assistance to students through tutoringHelping students enter the program and help students pack up for dismissalAll other duties as assignedExpected to adhere to all program site rules regarding safety, cell phone use, and student interactionMust complete any necessary training and paperwork as needed for employmentDepending on experience and availability, employees may also be responsible for: Assisting with daily program set-upDistribution of snacks and/or assisting students with opening their snacksPrepping materials for studentsParticipation in special eventsSubstituting for other staff within the after-school programJob QualificationsThe following are required:Understanding of the after-school program(s) and its role within the District.Possess basic reading and math skills.Possess basic understanding of learning disabilities.Clear and easily understood verbal communication skills in English.Proven ability to communicate effectively with children.
