The CareerBuilder website is receiving an update. You will see a refreshed look and gain access to new tools designed to make your job search faster and more effective.

Will I lose my account, resume, or saved information?

No. Your account login, active resume, contact preferences, and job applications will remain intact after the update.

Will my past job applications still exist?

Yes. All applications you’ve submitted will be saved. However, to keep your profile streamlined, only your 10 most recent applications will be visible on your profile after the update.

How can I download my full application history?

Before February 21, you can download your complete application history by visiting this link and clicking “Download Application History.” We recommend doing this if you’d like a personal record of all past applications.

Will my login information change?

No. You will continue to sign in using your existing username and password.

Will all my resume documents be kept?

Your most recent resume document will automatically be kept. If you have multiple resumes stored on CB, we recommend downloading them before February 21st.

  • An expanded jobs database

Do I need to take any action?

Where can I get help if I have questions?

If you need assistance, visit our Help Center.

What if I am a registered user of both Monster and CareerBuilder? To make managing your search easier, your login credentials will be streamlined. You can continue to use both sites just as you have done before. However, you will now use your Monster credentials to log in to both sites. Your application history from both platforms will be combined into one view. If your CareerBuilder resume is more up-to-date than your Monster profile, you’ll have the opportunity to sync and update it the next time you log in.
