Our dream is to become the fastest growing, most loved, window covering company in the world. What's yours?</div>Position OverviewAs a Seamstress you will be responsible for face fabric and lining for drapery panels and ensures that patterns and stripes match up when joining seam.What you'll do<ul><li>Moves fabric from racks to machine tables</li><li>Moves table to starting position</li><li>Ensures that properly racked fabric is joined evenly without puckers or crooked seams</li><li>Checks production tickets to insure proper goods are being joined</li><li>Checks production tickets for special instructions that may affect joining operation</li><li>Informs supervisor of any problems that develop relative to the joining operation</li><li>Ensures that pattern and stripes match up when joining seams together</li><li>If racker is not available, place joined fabric on rack</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>Who you are<ul><li>High school graduate</li><li>Sewing experience; experience with industrial sewing machines</li><li>Ability to use and read a tape measure</li><li>General knowledge of fabrics</li><li>Ability to use hand tools</li><li>Successfully pass color blind test</li><li>Accuracy with names, numbers and spelling</li><li>Capable of standing for extended periods of time</li><li>Capable of lifting on a continuous basis</li><li>Strong attention to details</li><li>Follow written and verbal instructions</li></ul>What's in it for you?<ul><li>Hourly base salary range: $15 hourly</li><li>Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability</li><li>A company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth</li><li>Time off with pay</li><li>401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching</li><li>Paid parental leave</li><li>Wellness programs and product discounts</li></ul>Please note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate's education, experience, skills and potential.
