The SOM will work with the ALD Leadership team on business, operational, and programmatic activities including leading and coordinating logistics for large reviews; facilitating the development and implementation of Directorate level strategic and tactical plans and initiatives related to staffing plans, succession planning, and funding requests; leading the development and implementation of administrative procedures and processes for the Directorate; managing professional and support staff within the Directorate office; leading and coordinating efforts that enable the effectiveness of administrative support personnel across the Directorate; facilitating the coordination, planning, oversight, and conduct of directorate-wide activities in programmatic execution, business operations, and directorate implementation of institutional administrative requirements; conduct research, analysis, and coordinating implementation of systems and process improvement to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the Directorate.
