Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Outpatient Internal Medicine clinic at one central location</li><li>Clinic hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM no nights or weekends</li><li>Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access</li><li>Shared 1:7 call triaged through MyNurse and phone call only.</li><li>Average 18-22 patients per day</li><li>Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care</li><li>Access and manage acute and chronic conditions</li><li>Screen all patients for health maintenance needs, physicals, disease prevention, immunizations, birth control, and educate patients in health promotion,</li><li>Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment</li><li>Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul>

Qualifications:

Medcor is seeking a Part-Time Physician to provide hands-on Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine services at our onsite employer-based clinic in Waterloo, IA.
